Buttock Augmentation and Exercise
Buttock augmentation involves the insertion of artificial implants into the buttocks with the goal of achieving a more pleasing size and shape. Buttock enhancement can be very successful and has helped many patients achieve the sensuous curves they desire.
A good candidate for buttock augmentation is an adult in good general health and psychologically stable who wants to improve their appearance and has realistic goals and expectations. You may look like Jennifer Lopez after your surgery, but you may not be able to dance like her or sing like Beyonce.
Most buttock augmentation surgery is performed in an out-patient setting and you are able to return home, with the assistance of someone to drive you, to rest and recover, within hours of your procedure.
When you leave the surgery center you will be wearing a compression garment to support and encourage healing of the buttocks. You will also be prescribed pain medication to control any pain connected with the surgery and you will be encouraged to drink fluids and follow the surgeons' instructions to speed your recovery.
Intense physical exertion should be avoided for several weeks, but you may be able to resume your normal exercise routine and physical activities within a month or two of your surgery. These times vary from case to case, so Dr. Hendricks is best qualified to guide you in the proper timing of your return to normal physical activity.
Does the idea of buttock augmentation surgery appeal to you? Please contact Dr. Douglas L. Hendricks of Pacifica Cosmetic Surgery Center today to learn more about this procedure.
